Mentoring & Small Groups
Consistent conversations in a welcoming setting that build confidence, healthy decision-making, accountability, and trusted relationships.
We bring mentorship directly to boys and young men—meeting them where they are, building trust, and helping them move toward confidence, purpose, and opportunity.
ONE1STEP Mentorship Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit serving minority males ages 6–20 throughout South Fulton and Metro Atlanta. Our mobile approach removes barriers by bringing consistent support into the communities where boys and young men live, learn, and grow.
Our sessions give young people room to be heard while developing the practical skills, relationships, and direction they need for what comes next.
Consistent conversations in a welcoming setting that build confidence, healthy decision-making, accountability, and trusted relationships.
Hands-on workshops focused on communication, goal setting, emotional awareness, responsibility, and navigating real-world challenges.
Exposure, preparation, and guidance that help youth see new possibilities and take practical steps toward education and meaningful careers.
Our Mercedes-Benz Sprinter is being transformed into a safe, inviting mentoring space for school and community stops across Metro Atlanta. It creates room for small-group conversations, workshops, resource connections, and the kind of personal attention that changes trajectories.
ONE1STEP was founded from lived experience. Growing up in a single-parent home and facing legal trouble as a young man, our founder knows how easily a life can change direction—and how powerful the right mentor can be. Guidance from mentors and a devoted stepfather helped him choose a new path.
Today, that second chance fuels a promise: show up for young people early, listen without judgment, and help each one take the next right step.
